While the rumor mill has spawned its own mythology, I wanted to set the
record straight and say a simple goodbye and thank you.  I also want to
collect the money that everyone owes me.

My last day at Trilogy will be a week from today, September 30th.  Most
people are wondering what I'm doing next - the short answer is "I'm
starting a company with a friend in California." and the long answer is
"I'm starting a company with a friend in California."  We've got this
really cool idea called a "Browser" that you can look at "Web" pages with
on the "Internet."

My decision to come to Trilogy was probably the best decision I ever made.
My decision to leave was probably the hardest.  My decision to grow
sideburns was perhaps the most ridiculous.

The last two years have been incredible : the people I have worked with,
the opportunity Trilogy has given me, and the moon pies have all been
beyond expectations.

I'll be in Austin until October 21st.  My email address is
rollins@cs.stanford.edu.  I'll be out of pocket until probably 1998, but
don't be a stranger.  Unless, of course, I don't know you, in which case,
you are a stranger.

Again - thanks,

BJR
